    Train Ride from Yangon

Please excuse me if I post a good deal.
I have a good many photos that mean a great deal to me that no one has seen.

Went to the train station in Yangon very early one morning to take the train to Mawlamyaing.

Don't mind the number of images at all, nice series. Perhaps number them to make feedback easier.

    But they are numbered!
    (Thanks for the suggestion.)

Anytime. Best one for me is #2, good angle and exposure, I feel like I'm walking right behind him.

I have lots of pretty lush travel photos - and stories to go with them. (I can write reasonably)
I've been toying with the idea of making well formatted ebooks of travel stories and one of street photos as gifts for my family.

I think you should go for it, you've got the eye.

    Lew,

a wonderful diverse set, with a lot to enjoy.

Number 1 sticks out for me. Even though it is soft (which I don't mind by the way), it speaks volumes in terms of story and mood.

    Lew,
Good to see you back and posting again.
The strong shadows, beautiful early morning light and the exotic details (well, exotic to us here in North America: the basket carried on the woman's head, and the man wearing the sarong) make number 1 my favorite of the series.
Photos taken in early morning have always appealed to me, and this shot certainly does.
It has that indescribable quality I call "feel" which evokes strong emotions when I study it.
    Excellent shot and nice series.

Sergio, that area was really dark and the resultant image had lots of noise and little sharpness so I tried to catch the ambiance.
    without the details.

    Thanks for the comment.

I can't find a favourite, Lew -- they are all diverse and different. #4's eyes are very penetrating. Good camera contact there. Although I like #5 -- the shot is ruined by your watermark.

The second image for me for shear atmosphere. If you have been there you can feel it. The fourth image stands out as a pure image. I would be tempted to crop it to square though and lose the LHS. It's a nice study.

I will post some more from that trip later today.

Since I didn't want my watermark to ruin Izzie's experience, I put up a newer version.
