Excellent series. I especially love image 4. Well done!
Tony
Thank you Benjy...Keep well, mate.
Thanks Tony -- not as good as your wildlife shots but it is OK...sometimes, I can hit a miracle shot that everyone likes...
Thank you both for your nice comments. 'Appreciate it.
This is a wonderful presentation, Izzie.
The 4th is the stand-out for me, the way you have caught the plane in the lens flare, coupled with the sun burst is just gorgeous to me.
I think they're sublime Izzie, I'm sue I can single one out as a fav!
The framing's spot on for each of them and the written narrative adds to the overall cohesion of the work
Thanks, Greg...
Thanks Adam...
for your kind words both...Love to hear from both of you.
Very enjoyable series Izzie. My son is a chopper pilot and I never ever thought of him as poetic or or a romantic but inside his pilot's log book is this:
When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.
Leonardo da Vinci
Very emotional. Beautifully done.
Excellent images...really enjoyed them all
Thank you, Nandy, Tim and Richard.
Richard, what your son wrote on his logbook is very true. Once you tasted flight...I know how to fly though I am never keen on flying or physically pushing that trottle and pushing buttons. I am more into 'photographing' if you know what I mean...and I feel nekkid without my camera when up there. Interesting that when I first bought my bird/wildlife lens the first thing I espied was an AA plane passing by our house...
Thank you all for commenting. I appreciate very much your kind words.
Great set Isabel, good work !
Late to the party - love them Izzie you have very successfully merged the two genres of words and images
Great work Izzie; it pulled at my heart strings
Terrific work, Izzie. Wonderfully conceived, composed and presented.
Janis...now you are being kind to me....LOL
Joe, I am working backwards here as I remember the last first. No offence. I am glad to achieve that feeling for you. The poem was a nice touch. I am glad I wrote the author as it was really fitting to my story.
Kaye, thank you too. Never too late.
Thank you all for passing by and commenting. I really do appreciate it very much.
