Sophia is a Shih Tsu about two or three years old who came to to us for rehabilitation due to surgery for a broken pelvis. We think that she was hit by a car. A Ventura County (just north of Los Angeles) shelter vet did the surgery and Sophia has been healed and released for adoption. We have several families interested in adopting her...

Thanks for the comments. These are really two very nice dogs. We have gotten very close to Sophia because she has been rehabilitating with us for a couple of months. It would be easy to fall in love with Roland because he is such a sweet guy. However, he was adopted very quickly, His new mom had lost a mini-poodle to old age and she just adores Roland who is reciprocating the affection
He was quite at home sitting in her lap!
