Wow, you are going to have fun with this lens.
I love this shot Brian. Perhaps the insect could be a bit sharper, but my first impression was wow, and your title is perfect. I feel like I'm getting a bugs eye view of the morning.

Brian, I'm not sure what to say. For reasons that actually make no sense whatsoever, this image is conjuring thoughts of biblical floods, strange portents and ominous forecasts!

From an emotional PoV it appeals enormously and the titling fits perfectly.

As regards 'technical' issues, no comment.... does'nt really matter, except maybe for one thing....
I might have considered a B&W interpretation. I don't know if you are familiar with the work of Gustave Dore, but, somehow this reminds me of his work. (Enigma maybe?)

Nice, indeed. Good composition that worked really well with the soft green tones. Well done!

My ignorance is infinite. Gutave Dore is a new name and inspiration to me. I could have a go at B&W for this shot

The truth will come out. I tried this shot from a poorly braced standing position when there was a very gentle breeze. I couldn't get the sharp shot. But the shot captured me so I began to try to pull out what I felt.

    My ignorance is infinite.
My old dad would would have said that knowing that is true knowledge, and beats knowing everything!
Sums up the photography challenge quite neatly in my opinion
