Thanks a lot Dan I moved to a new location last month and I'm still trying to settle down. I have really missed shooting and processing images, I hope I will be shooting and posting some images in October as I need to explore nice places for shooting first.

I like the picture, especially composition. The red colored wave spray in the foreground is great. If possible I would try to shoot a few meters from the back with a larger focal length to get a larger sun on the picture.

Thanks for looking and commenting Robert . This is actually an old thread but became alive again with Carol's post. I have a lot of shots from the same day with similar scenes. I liked the spray of the waves and they looked better with wide angle. However I also uploaded this https://www.flickr.com/photos/bnnrcn/27509163906/ image to CinC . It is from the same shooting session and it is more like what you describe

PS. Flickr adds too much sharpening to the images while uploading, so it is better if you view the image at larger size by hitting the symbol on the top right corner of that page.

Thanks for sharing. Yes in wide angel including a piece of beach it looks more fascinating.
