Interesting.

Clearly your aim was better than his.
This is one of those images that, if I were to see it in a gallery I'd be stymied as to whether it was a painting or a photograph, that is part of its strength, its interest, at least to me.
+1 to Jack's comments. I love the colours, too.
You are one of the most distinct artists in CiC. Your images are your signature!!! very well done![]()
Very nice![]()
Professor Paul Hill, in his introduction to J. A. P. Alexander's 'Perspectives on Place: Theory and Practice in Landscape Photography', Bloomsbury, 2015, writes, "Photography has become the preferred medium for so many artists today that the boundaries between fine art and photography seem to have been irrevocably blurred. .... It is a celebration of 'camera vision' - the practice of seeing, thinking and creating it photographically..."
Whether you call yourself a photographer, an artist, someone who takes pictures, or someone who makes pictures, doesn't really matter. What really matters is that bit about seeing, thinking and creating, especially 'thinking'.
In the same vein as Nandakumar above, I love seeing the boundaries being blurred and witnessing that process of seeing, thinking and creating being so obviously illustrated.

As the others have said - art and photography in harmony.
IM(very)HO there is a very small but....I think the meerest mm's at the top of the photo could go - is it a hedgerow/line of trees in the far background ? Just for me it detracts a little
A huge thank you to everyone for your responses on this one. It is very, very much appreciated .
kaye...am sorry to say but I deliberately put that line there by using a 'Tin type' effect at the end of processing.![]()
So glad that the farmers shot missed or we may not be able to enjoy this very pleasing image.
I am always amazed by your shots. But this one is in a class of its own.
