Yes, Dave, they tend to associate people with food treats. I have often had a whole herd following me across a field after they smelt chocolate biscuits in my backpack.
Nice composition and good exposure, although I would probably clone out that wire coming from the right side.
I always wonder what goes on behind those big beautiful eyes, I suspect less than I'd prefer but still, they have such an curious, inquisitive look I had to put my steak down when I opened thisThis is a really, really charming shot, as a shot itself as well as a shot of cows. Just charming!
Thanks Geoff, I will clone out the wire - I might be able to cope with that!
I've never thought of feeding treats to cattle - do they ever get any of your biscuits? What I find amusing is the way they seem to play "dare", first one edging closer, then another, until a rasp-like tongue is extended towards me, and then the whole lot panic in retreat!
Dave
They are so cute and innocent; i love them![]()
"what does he want, milk or meat?"
I find it amusing that looking at it twice now (Ok the 4th time...) I find them looking not at the camera but at the orange furry cow so I sort of gone to the conclusion that the "visitor" is that cow not the photographer. I love this...it has a story of its own...
