    Lillypads

The lighting is a little flat and I know the vignettes won't be to everyone's taste, but comments on the images below would be appreciated.

The vignettes are very subtle so no problem there. I like the first as it fills the screen.

Lovely! If there was a bit of a crop bottom and left side to better position the blossom, I would prefer the second as it tells a bit of a story with the blossom just peaking out from the pads. Nice work!

Now Judith has just confused me...I would have said I like the first one because of the colour and the way it fills the frame...now I do not know...

I like the processing on these, well done.

I like them just as they are. Artistic and elegant compositions, to be sure.

Thanks for the comments all, much appreciated. I've since seen some beautifulo pictures of lotus flowers lit from behind (or within) - I'd love to emulate that but don't think I can reach for these particular flowers.

Where would you crop from Judith? Could you show me what you are thinking? I'm quite happy with the compositions, but it never hurts to look at another opinion!
