    This isn't really working for me I'm afraid Brian.

    I can see some possibilities within this frame, but there's just too much here competing to be 'the subject', not to mention many distractions.

    Needs to be simpler, as much of your recent work has been.

    A slight crop from bottom and left would greatly help in 'simplifying' this scene

    Alternatively, just the bottom (or with a tiny bit from the top as well) and go 5 x 4 ratio?

    This would definitely work in B & W, I would convert and study the patterns and lines; then take another look at your color version and see if there is anything that can be emphasized in color or shape.
