Waiting for the Metro is a great capture. Chance or design? Either way, it's a good shot.
In Greece for the wedding, started with a 6 hr lunch on Wednesday inlcluding many Ouzos, anther on Friday and then again Saturday night from 6.30 pm until 4 am. This little selection of photos are local scenes and not the wedding.

#3 Beach near hotel
#4 View from our balcony
It is nice to see greens and blues together Lindsay, I can feel the nice weather, a nice set
Yes these have all worked well. Obviously you put a bit of thought into the compositions before clicking the shutter.
Nicely done, that first is an advertisement for getting outside.
Thankyou Binnur, Geoff and John. I appreciate your interest and comments. Yes I have been trying to improve composition.
We are now over in Bucharest Romania and am told that there is a lot of interesting places so aim to show you what I can in the next few weeks.
Spent a few days this week in Transylvania, Romania driving the Transfagarasan Road through the Fagaras Mountains. Some people have rated this one of the best drives in the world. Check out this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eAPS2RPYRs
Here is a selection of shots I took.
# 1 Red house and road
#2 At Balea Lak highest point in road, 2042 m.
#3 Looking down the road

Thanks for sharing the video Lindsay , I would love to drive on that road too #1 is a very nice image. Unfortunatelly I'm seeing a car image in #2 but I might be able to see the right photo tomorrow when tinypic fixes itself
Everything seems to be showing correctly now. Good images.
The B&W night scene in Week 38 has worked well for such a difficult situation with poor light and people moving around.
Love the shots in week 39. In the third shot looking down the road IMO would be better if the section of highway in the bottom left were not so prominent. It draws the eye away from the rest of the image. Thanks for sharing that video. The highway is amazing!
Hi Lindsay,
Going back to Week 38, I find the blacks lacking any detail in #1 (Bulavadul Unirii), but appreciate your editing circumstances while away from your normal screen and computer must be challenging.
The road in Week 39 does look amazing and I also enjoyed the video, so thanks for sharing that too.
I agree with Joe's thought on the foreground road in #3, it is the red/white paint on the barrier that is mostly responsible, if that were removed, by cropping, or perhaps even cloning the plain over it, it may help. (but again, I'm not suggesting this is feasible while you're travelling)
Cheers, Dave
Thanks Joe. It was not the best time of day, not the best weather and not that easy to stop for the best compositions, but still a great drive. Fortunately my son was driving so I could relax and watch the scenery. I'll revisit some of these when I get home and look at some refinements.
