    Nice series, first one took a moment to adjust my gaze to. Interesting use of nature to create pattern and shapes. Similar thoughts on the fourth image. 2 and 3 are nicely composed.

    I agree with John re #1. Looks almost like a wall until your eyes come to focus. I like #4 best. All nicely done, though.

    Thanks for the comments, John and Zen. Yes, I like that notion of an unexpected view. Here's one I didn't post originally because I wanted to stick with the B&W images:

    Nicely composed, the upper portion can be interpreted a couple of ways, it looks like a swarm approaching the viewer yet appears as a solid texture.
