While sitting on the plane...saw these...

Your first shot Izzie made me think, has someone fastened the seatbelt before they sat down so the airline decided to be explicit about how it should be used?

It also made me think about the trains I used to go to work. A small section of every window is hinged so it can be opened and every one of these sections bears a sticker that says, "Open window to increase ventilation".

The occurrence that got my attention one night (flying in an Air Force Super Constellation - broadcasting radio and television to the Vietnamese) was Saint Elmo's Fire. Bluish gobs of whatever bouncing around the interior of the aircraft. I knew what it was and that it didn't involve any threat to my safety but, it was weird never the less

Thanks for the added info, Richard...when I am in the plane with Bill, I always know I will be safe. He doesn't mince his words.

I'm gonna try this again... those warnings are aimed at the "wing walker" who is walking along the upper wing doing a visual inspection... don't step here... bad things happen.

Yep...seen this one too. Some funny thoughts ran through my mind everytime I see this while sitting coach. We are supposed to leave for Diamond Point (Washington) tomorrow morning ('was postponed due to bad weather) and I was already thinking of taking a shot of this one too but you beat me to it. I suppose that was where my question of the same came from too...some passengers actually forget to unlatched their seat belt before standing up too you know...

Now that last one's notice is in small letters at the side of my old Ford 250 pickup truck that has no aircondition. 'Finally sold it before Christmas.
