Night Skimmer
I was going through old photos the other night and came across this one and while not a great shot but I find it interesting that you can see the prey and what the odds are that he will catch one. I used to go to the water around 2:00am a lot while walking the dog and would see the skimmers hunting which if you've never seen before is a beautiful sight. In Long Beach CA there is a lighthouse that they light up with colored lights and one night a skimmer crossed the reflection and I wondered if there would be enough light to get that shot. The next night I went with my flash and tried but no it wasn't great. This is one where he came a little closer and the flash lit the small bait fish. I'll post an additional skimmer shot so it's worth your while clicking on this thread

Re: Night Skimmer
Excellent shots, Roger...You think a Better Beamer flash extender will help with the light? Just curious...
