    I love these guys and shoot them at every opportunity. As with the Green Herons (and really almost any wading bird) the full on concentration and patience is just stunning to observe.

    Do you mind saying where you are shooting, generally? I also like shooting Bitterns but I've only seen them in the reeds. I've never seen one out of the water like this. It's a really nice shot, catching him in a less common position.
