Cachoeira do Rio Formiga (Ant River Waterfall) and Fervedouro

Another attraction of Jalapão state park is the Formiga River and its waterfall. It is a small river. Its water is pure and crystal clear. Besides that, it is not cold at all, being a pleasant place to swim and have deep contact with nature.

The Fervedouros are one of the most interesting things in the park. They are small hot water springs coming from the ground at high pressure, making it impossible to anybody to dive. No matter how hard you try, you will be floating!

I asked because I heard it from the radio that the place where the kayaking or canoeing will be done has "floating body parts" , a gross news I know and I hope that news is a joke.

Hi, Izzie. There is a known problem with the water quality in Rio's Guanabara Bay. That includes some of the locations where water sports will be held. That is a fact.

I also heard about the floating body parts, but I want to believe it is just gossip (I really hope ).
