    Looking After Plants

Spotted this herbarium in our travels. I just liked the look of it and the clouds behind. C&C most welcome as always.

I might tend to tap the brighter lights (roof panels) down a half a notch or so....or, after more perusal, open up the lights on the bottom side of the structure just a touch to bring the whole building into more dominance. I like how it stands off the BG which has some beautiful tonal values.

Looks good to me, Ole. Nicely converted to B&W. Possibly a bit tight at the bottom but maybe you had to exclude something.

Geoff, the foreground was ugly as.

Ole, very nice...I like the subtle look of your image...Good conversion but I think it needs a bit more punch with brightening -- just a tad. Just my thought...

Izzie, I take your point. The image then would be punchy. I think that because the tonal values in the background are quite evenly distributed, a more vibrant white building would jar. I could be wrong----I'm waffling.
    Cheers Ole
