    Low and Slow

1/20, f/8 ISO 200, handheld slow pan - just playing around.

As Kaye says it's very creative, and i works well. The shaking/long exposure emphasis movement, and makes a normal static picture, very interesting. Great work!

Thanks, I've been doing a lot of slow pan work of late, though mostly with kiteboarders or surfers, the seagull just happened on the scene and he was flying into a pretty stiff headwind so it made the shot a bit easier.

If I have a shot like this, I'd call it "art"...but that is just me.

I like it a lot for no particular reason. That to my mind is a compliment. It appeals to the senses, it is different because it does not conform. It is refreshing to look at. Just my opinion.

Thanks. I like it very much for the same reasons, Mugge....I think it just captures the imagination in some way that wants that poor seagull to keep going...
