Nice series John. In the late 50's I used to spend my school holidays in a cottage in Staithes

Good focus and perfect exposure of well composed scenes.
Staithes (there's a t in it) is a fantastic place - only about an hour from me and a regular day out.
I'll let you off with missing the u out of harbour as you're not from around here
Good set of images - hope you enjoyed your visit.
Thank you Peter, Geoff, Robin, and Ian for your comments and noting the spelling error (it has been fixed).
Nice as it is, John, no one mentioned the dust bunnies in your shots which are in the same spot in each image...almost top left hand side. If asked to choose, I like #3 shot because it is a peek through another world there.
Thank you for your comments John and Izzie. Izzie, I believe the dust bunnies you are noting are the flying variety - birds.
Lovely shots - I'd forgotten about Staithes.......I am hoping to head North in October - Staithes is now on the stopping off list, thank you. And well done for getting off the more normal tourist track, there can't be too many of your countrymen who explore this part of our country.
Nice set
