    House Wren

Often I hear people say "just put the camera down and enjoy the moment". I have memories of special times when I did not choose to take a photo. The image of some of those moments are etched in my brain. But no matter how hard I try to watch and be in the moment there are things that I can't see with just my eyes. This photo is an example of just such a case. I managed to get a photo of this house wren in flight. It stopped the action. This little bird is extremely fast and presents a challenge to get its picture in flight. I think it is beautiful and I am glad I had my camera to record its beauty. View in large format is possible.

Very cool shot! I can attest to the difficulty in catching them in flight.
