I am thinking a tighter crop...a bit off the left and bottom and right up the the first bulb on the right...I think it needs to be more up close and personal.

Pretty colour, Ziggy...I think we have some of those on my fence at the backyard and each year I kept wondering what it is before it breaks my fence back there. Thanks for the ID.

Good focus depth. Nice composition and the ants are a bonus.

The background is a little bit distracting so I would consider selectively toning down the highlights a fraction; not really a serious problem though.

Nice image Jim The grey colored bottom leaves distract a bit. May be you can change the color of them to green for a better look
