    Macro on the cheap

First time using my macro lens (bought used on the Shop Goodwill site) on my used Sony camera (A7ii).
Ever wonder what that small print on the batteries says?
I have a hard time reading this even with a magnifying glass.

    Macro on the cheap

This is a film counter from an old camera.

My setup is not as sophisticated as ionian's is. These are all ambient light with the film counter being enhanced with an LED flashlight.
I had a dead grasshopper that fell out of my wood pile in the garage the other day, but my wife wouldn't allow it in the house so I tossed it out.

On the cheap is good. So are the shots. I find myself more and more trying to get the best out of what I have rather than getting the best o get mediocre.
