As a general rule my processing leaves no EXIF data. If this is something anyone wants, I'm always open to providing the data.

This was surprisingly a slow shutter of 1/320, ISO 640, +1 EV, f/8. I had been shooting a fishing Least Bittern in a shaded area just prior to this Mourning Dove zipping by. It was an off the hip shot and sometimes you just get lucky. I generally tend to shoot wildlife in the early hours of the morning from right after daybreak until around 9 am. This was shot closer to 9 because the ISO was already lowered significantly.

Most times I shoot an auto ISO with a cap at 1600 and a minimum at 400 when shooting birds in the morning hours, and mostly at f/8 when the opportunity presents itself. If required, and it often is, I will kick off the auto ISO and go full manual. Sometimes, I will shoot later in the evening but birds have a way of just tucking in without as much fanfare as they do when warming into the sun.

When shooting birds or aircraft against a bright, back-lit sky, I always give my exposures a +1 to +2 EV so I can retain detail in the undersides without blowing the highlights on top.

Just that Dave always reminds me that if I won't, might not, have my EXIF seen by some people of my images, you will find that the old membership always put some details of their shots with their images. I always forget because I am used to EXIF-peeking.

I've tried to make the EXIF data stay with the image but to a large degree I work in channel and luminosity masking and by the time my images go through 8-10 adjustment layers, there is very little left from the original camera input data. I think I've only seen a few images on here that have included image data but if that is a suggested requirement, I will see if I can remember to include it in future posts.
