    Red carpet

Taken on Bloor Street West, in a very exclusive and trendy shopping area here in Toronto, a few weeks ago.
A very old, dear friend and I often take very long walks on Sunday early mornings and explore interesting areas of the city. Because we usually walk for about three hours, I limit myself to one small body and a single lens.
We wandered onto this section of Bloor where an exhibition of very expensive automobiles and racing cars was being set up. A red carpet had been rolled out onto the street, and I liked the way the carpet stretched out into the distance, as well as the clean, deserted look of the area.
As my buddy Sid stopped to photograph an Indy car, I took a second to grab this shot.

Very nice, I love the way light bounces off those tall buildings.

The red carpet really does lead the eye into the distance. Your buddy Sid wearing a red shirt is a nice touch.

    Sergio,
Just a coincidence. Sid has a couple of moisture-wicking shirts he wears when he walks, and on this day he wore the red one. When we start out we only have a general idea of where we'll go and we had no idea that the car show was about to happen or that a red carpet was top be rolled out until we got to this section of Bloor Street.
