Looking at your title without seeing the image, for a while there I thought I will be seeing a dog doing its "duty"...goes to show how dirty my mind can be... And btw, I do not think humans shake like that after a bath... I know I don't...
Cheers...Izzie
I don,t have the energy to shake like that.
nice capture Janis,
Thanks, Mark and John. I have 12 years' worth of shots like these (and better ones, I think) trapped on a slow drive. Some day I will have to dig them out and make an album of them.
Izzie, the association is natural, and the evocation of it entirely conscious, if not deliberate. As far as whether humans shake like that, well, you must not have long hair.
I think it was a reference to the birds shaking thread Izzie!
Good timing Janis
Neat shot - makes me smile...
Mark, you are neither a dog nor a bird...(Dave, stop putting nasty things in my mind...) and yes, Janis...at my age I still have baby smooth olive skin and haven't shave my face nor my legs like other women do. I leave shaving to Bill.
Oh my goodness, Izzie, I was thinking along the lines of this, but with wet hair. You know, I had difficulty finding a good image of a wet hair shake. There are plenty of images of flips, but not shakes. Maybe we should make it a challenge.
Now I know why I do not know these kinds of things -- it is because I don't do it. Ever since I was young, I am always handed a towel to dry my hair and I'm never without a large towel even in bed. A towel to me is a "bunny rag" as we call it in Australia (something comfortable to cuddle and cover.)
