Three New Rescues

We recently rescued these three young Shih Tzu mix dogs from a high kill Los Angeles Shelter. They all had kennel cough so we isolated them at our Los Angeles vet until they were no longer communicable. We have another three still at the vet.

I plan on another shooting session later in the week after these young dogs feel more comfortable with us...

IMO, dogs are far easier to photograph than cats, especially when they are new to an environment like my rescue dogs usually are. Although I really love cats and have made fast friends with several, the are just not usually as receptive to humans at the start of a relationship.

Therefore, you often need to catch cats unawares, like when they are reading the newspaper
