I agree wholeheartedly, ban smartphones when dining with friends and relatives.
Aussies are not really that bad...at least my kids and I talk at the dinner table, no cell phones at all. It is their choice. Different here at home with Bill's kids, their friends and his girlfriend. I serve and eat a little and when the cell phones do not get put down, I leave the table and go to my den. Easy...

Sergio, it was family business and when the son noticed me taking the picture, I said I like the sign. He said, yeah, people come in, buy one cup of coffee and sit for two hours playing games on their phones. Not good for business.
