AH! following on from my earlier post, the face and mouth parts are wrong for a dragonfly. The rather pronounced mandibles suggest some kind of Saw Fly to me. (Says the ex-biochemist who dabbles in entomology
)
It will be interesting to see what Geoff thinks.
That compound eye detail is really good. Were you using flash?

Yes I was. I had it set to 0 compensation. Maybe I should have lowered it a bit?
