Hi Steve,
Some good shots there, my favourites are #2 and #4.
Was it raining in #5?
The sky in #4 suggests it may have been, as does the sea surface (in #5).
I ask because of the slightly peculiar shoreline, very dark compared to the land immediately behind, but I just noticed it is shot into the sun, so that probably explains it.
Cheers,
Very nice series Steve
We were taken to Curio Bay as children, I think I have a circa 1960's shot of me as a toddler near those rocks!....which will not see the light of day nor scanner
Go on. That's the next themed competition - The nicest pictures of members as a child.
Steve's comments about needing a 'fix' of coast reminds me of one the advantages of being in a small country. You guys in BIG countries have these challenges. In Scotland, nobody lives more than 23 miles (I think that's right) from the sea/ocean. It does mean that people such as us who like to make pictures have a diverse array of landscape options available with relatively short distances. We don't have to travel for hours and hours to get to mountains, or cities, or shorelines, etc.
Now all I've got to do is learn to make good pictures of all that scenery!
ps - Steve. A super set, as normal

#1 #2 you should try Poldhu Cove at 6am, being a midlander the only bit if sea I ever saw was Blackpool which is like a black pool, but then I was enchanted by a magical roar and green water you could see fish in. #1 is my favourite.
Nice series Steve, and #4 is brilliant. I love the bright sun in the foreground, with the background shadowed. Great eye!
Cheers,
Rick
Nice!!! #1 gets my vote #2 a close second.
Wendy
Nice shots, love that greenery in the third shot. Great capture of the waves.
Shot two was the WOW shot for me due to the clearness and colour of the water. The last shot just made me want to live there. We have beaches, but they tend to be shorter and rockier.

I really like this one Steve, it quite literally has lead-in 'lines', as if one can walk down the path, turn right, onto the beach, turn left and keep going
(need to keep an eye on the tide though?)
Is the sunlit 'mist' I see in the distance actually ocean spray from another bay on the left (sunny) side of the land you are standing on?
Thanks,
