    Lavender

When you've been to work all morning, you've the kids to deal with as its the summer holidays and every time you think about going out for a walk it rains but you still need to scratch your trigger finger itch.

Me - I got a bit of lavender from the garden, propped it in a 5mm socket that just happened robe handy then used a case from an old iPhone as a backdrop. I shot it with a 60mm f2.4 macro lens and two extension tubes...

I wasn't thinking portrait as much as square with the stem emanating about 3/4 of an inch from the left side.
