WOW...really awesome![]()
There you go; the difference is quite remarkable. Brilliant shot.
Excellent Brian.
Getting this close is when the real fun starts and they jump up on the camera![]()
That is indeed quite amazing. I've never done macro, but it does introduce us to a who different world.
I think, now, you just need to get the model to smile a bit!
Sorry Donald, that's its "happy" face!I think, now, you just need to get the model to smile a bit!
Excellent capture Brian. You have a really good DoF,
How big is it? Over here jumping spiders are quite small, our zebra spider is about 2-4 mm on average. (Also a lot less colourful.)
Nice.
Super shot BrianDid you use any extension tubes for this shot or is it just your macro lens ?
It is so often the case that the simple things are the often most overlooked things that take a good shot into a much better shot. Keep on improving, Brian.
Amazing shot Brian, and it doesn't disappoint at 100% - folks, use LyteBox (click on image) then hit "F" key to see what I mean.
Probably you best macro to date (although that's a hard call to make these days).
Dave
Thanks Dave, I must for the record state that this shot had a fair bit of luck involved. He or she was on the bottom of the leaf when I set up to shoot she scampered to the top of the leaf facing in the right direction. There was a slight breeze that died down and I managed to get the tripod set up without scaring the spider. The rest as they say is history.
