You have handled the problem of bringing out the detail in the bird without having a blank white sky very well.
If you have a cat with you in your motor home you may be about to loose it.....

No animals...a cat would be a bit too big for an osprey unless it was a kitten..now an Eagle..bye-bye kitty.
Anytime I am shooting against a bright blue sky, I use a +1 EV. That keeps the shadows in detail without blowing out the sky.

Ospreys, or Fish Hawks as they are known in the UK and elsewhere are my favorite raptors. Extreme grace combined with aerial ballet and they are keen, keen hunters.

Almost a full frame shot. Trimmed a tad off the right side - too much blue sky.
