Nice series.
Really cool graffiti. There are some talented people out there that do graffiti. And, of course, there is the talented photographer that captures it I enjoyed your other posts from your trip too.
Thank you to John and Rita!
Indeed, graffiti is no longer the ugly scrawls that it once was. There are a lot of highly talented artists out there doing stuff like this. And you have done them justice, Mike.
Graffiti works only when shown along with the premises, mostly some abandoned places... I especially like one more for including this element.... Do yu have any reason for viewing from the side only?
Thank you to Donald and Nandakumar.
I actually have one image that is shot straight on and it seems too static to me, partly because the image becomes too two-dimensional. Other reasons: There are objects that often get in the way when shooting straight on. A shorter focal length would have been required to shoot them straight on, as the alleys are so narrow that shooting straight on limits the distance between camera and subject. (These images are not so important to me that they merited constantly changing lenses.) Last, displaying the images from the side depicts them as how people view them most of the time; hardly anyone stops to look at them straight on, instead reviewing them only as passing by.
Your explanations are very logical
Nice set Mike
