I would crop the image from the LHS and eliminate the half of the tree and the half of the stage for a better look

I find in so many cases that the one most debilitating factor that obscures a good photo from being a great photo is color cast. I see it way too frequently and in this rendition it is quite dominate. Sometimes the HDR effect (depending on the PP program used for the HDR) can create the cast and should be looked at carefully at each editing point. I found yours to be way toward the yellow side to the point that at first, I thought there might be a misalignment in the images because something nagged at me from the outset.

An easy test for color cast is to use an eyedropper tool on an area that should read almost dead on white. If it is not reasonably lose, then you need to do a color cast adjustment. I can tell you how in Photoshop or NIK but that's my limitations.

In the first image, I have your eyedropper as you posted, and second mine as corrected (best one can do on a 72dpi jpeg) and last a side by side comparison of the two edits.

You are indeed right Chris that I didn't even consider colour cast or correct white balance, but focussed on a HDRish image. I bought a postcard of Karlskurche and in no way could I ever do a better image so I concentrated on the storm clouds. However you seem to have captured some of the drama.

This last one is so much better looking. The inevitable iphone users included. I wonder what that boy was taking a shot of? -- the door?
