Guinea pig
So, in The Netherlands we have a new zoo,Wildlands, it is a great place to be there and enjoy al the animals.
A small animal aguinea pig was looking through the grass. I took the Photo with the canon 70-200 mm L non IS with a monopod.

Re: Guinea pig
Hi Arnold,
Good capture, but that white blob, top right corner in background needs to be gone in my opinion, it can't be cropped, so I suggest cloning.
It is good that you got both eyes with catch lights (sky) in.
Also good exposure and there are several other potential pitfalls that have, whether by design or luck, been avoided.
For example, it would not have been good had any of the blades of grass been taller than the animal, so they 'met' the green grass above (behind) the animal.
Good focus on eyes and nice to see the black whiskers too.
Only other thing I would do if mine is perhaps take a few pixels off the lower edge, just to remove a bit of the very out of focus foreground grass, but not enough to alter the composition significantly.
All in all, I think it is very good.

Re: Guinea pig
Nicely exposed, the bright spot upper right is a bit distracting.

Re: Guinea pig
What a cutie!...one of our kids used to have one of this with white and tan colour. Chick magnet for my boys as they were growing up.
