First shot with D60
Hello. This is my first post and i'm a amateur photographer. Recently bought a nikon d60 and this is a abstract photograph. Please comment and give tips for improvement.

I think it is a bit confused, and tho I don't mind starbursts in moderation, this overdoing them.
I suggest you don't go out determined to use your new camera - go out and find something that draws your attention, try framing it in imagination, then if looks as if it is going to work, and only then, frame it in the viewfinder, adjus the zoom and press the shutter. Concentrate on what it was that drew your attention and make sure that is the obvious focal point of te picture.....and it is easier to start in daylight, no??

still learning how to take better pic and not to relied on photoshop
