Sometimes the eye contact makes the shot, shakes your confidence at your skills though. Nice shot.

Yes, I agree with John -- I think that lady on the left saw you. She's wondering she is going to pose or just be intrigue. Was this a hip shot?

No I just make it look like I'm checking the camera out and point away or down Izzie, I don't need to look down the viewfinder and after a while most people don't think I'm taking photo's.
Same thing but harder to see because I've not made a large image, but a girl behind has noticed even though I know I didn't have the camera anywhere near my face.

Perhaps she's a photographer herself and is studying your technique. I find sitting on curbs with the camera on my knee or in my lap and using a remote electronic release does wonders for keeping people unaware I'm shooting. Prefocusing a to a specific focal zone and setting a prearranged exposure, I often will turn to camera away from where I am looking to further emphasize I'm just a tired old dude copping a rest.

I saw a photographer with her model, she noticed my camera straight away. I thought, dare I as the model posed, but chickened out. Cheers Chris.
