Saves them banging their ankles (that hurts).
I wonder, does anyone make a bicycle with removable pedals?
i.e. start as above, then add them when they have got the hang of balancing.
The better business model is to sell them a new bike (with pedals) I guess
Difficult to think of personal transportation examples we've not seen for this thread already, anyone got a:
unicycle
hover board
jet ski
snow ski
... perhaps it isn't so hard after all
Add to Dave's list...
skate board
ice skates
street skates
water skis
water banana
inner tube on water
wheel chair
motorized wheel chair
motorcycle with a side car
three wheel motorcycle (without a side car)
recreational vehicle
airplane
mini airplane built for one person (can't think of the name)
surf board
surf board with sail
tricycle
scooter
father's shoulders for carrying a child
Back and front packs for carrying an infant
Horse
Donkey
and...
SHOES!

Microlight?
(multiply by number of power options; human (can't go far), photovoltaic (can go all around the world) or just standard petrol)
Good additions there Mike, thanks.
I use "shoes" most of the time, or a boring standard car.
Add electrically assisted bicycle?
