Hi Jim,
Very, very nice. I was trying for something like that in the rain yesterday but nowhere close to you.
Being new to the forum I'm hoping to pick the techniques of guys like ypu.
I'd be interested in what exposure etc. you used.
Thanks,
Pat
Very nice, Jim
What great colors! The only thing I might suggest trying is to tone done the horizontal leaf that is nearly in the center of the picture. To my eye it distracts from the wonderful pink you have captured, primarily because it is so much in the face of the flower. That is clearly a post processing issue and, for those who do not want to mess with Mother Nature, this image is lovely! Thanks for sharing!
Jim - something you might want to try to get more interesting flower images. Try shooting with back lighting and let the light shine through the flowers and use the translucence to your advantage. The straight on shots are really not as interesting as one one like.
Very nice.
This is nice…mine had already finished, gone, kaput.
Thanks Nandakumar, Judith, Manfred, John and Izzie for the comments and suggestions for improvement, it is appreciated.
Izzie these started blooming about a week ago down at the dragon pond. Trouble is the blooms always face the water.
