Swampy pond, Berkshires
This is a pond in a bird sanctuary in the Berkshires (western Massachusetts). Not at all certain that there is enough there there or that I processed it reasonably. Best in lightbox. Would welcome feedback.

I really like the patterns of the grey trees with no leaves and their reflections. Everything about this image works for me.

Works for me, too. I like the crisp reflection.

I might be tempted to toss in a bit of a gradient fill at the bottom to keep the eye from "drifting" out of the frame but that's just a matter of personal taste and not meant as a slight to an already fine image..

Chris, thanks, I tried it, and I think you are right. A gradient fill helps, but I had to keep it slight to avoid wiping out texture and detail. The version I posted in my gallery has the change:

I think this is nice as it is...Like the edit better, but have you ever thought of cropping the top then flipping the image and calling it 'art'? I've seen quite a few of those here but not this kind of image...I think Adam did it once...and I find it intriguingly interesting...just a thought...
