Camera Hog
I was photographing a number of dogs the other day to place their portraits on our Internet rescue sites...
First up before the camera was Shelly...
Next was Chance...
Before I was finished with Chance, Shelly jumped up next to him. I guess she liked having her picture taken...
IMO shooting more than one dog is geometrically more difficult than shooting a single dog. If I had needed images of those two dogs, I could never have gotten them to pose like that...
Shelly was adopted today. Before she left, she almost gave me a heart attack. Shelly was outside in our yard with Sasha, our terrier, playing with a couple of other rescue dogs. When it was breakfast time for the canines, there was no Shelly to be found. We searched the yard calling her name, no Shelly! I got in my car and drove through our neighborhood calling her name.
When I got home, my wife had Shelly in her arms. I have prostrate Rosemary planted on a slope next to my house. Rabbits had made trails through the Rosemary until Sasha, the terrier, did what terriers are supposed to do and flushed away the rabbits. The Rosemary and rabbit trails are now Sasha's domain. She taught Shelly the fun of exploring but, when we called them in from breakfast, Sasha left Shelly and ran into the house.
Shelly obviously got lost in the maze of rabbit runs and couldn't find her way out. She doesn't bark so we couldn't find her that way. When my wife let the terrier out after her meal, Sasha went right into the rabbit runs and came out with a very dirty but, sweet smelling, Shelly.
Sasha, the terrier...

Re: Camera Hog
Nice series, good that Shelly likes the limelight, she may have a future as a model.
