    It Happened Very Quickly

I was watching a tiny dragonfly bounce off water in the middle of a lily pad like they sometimes do when a spider came out of nowhere.

    Outstanding!

For me, such moments occur when the fancy stuff is all in the house - and reaching for the cellphone in a panic scares off all the local wildlife in a trice

Sod's Law states the corollary that, when the DSLR + macro OS lens is to hand, no such events occur

    Thanks John, Nandakumar and Ted.

That would be my guess John since she was kept bouncing off the water. Think that is how they lay eggs.

Thanks Izzie. I think all critters are eating well at the dragon pond now.
