I ain't any expert Colin but I love it ... you have some great models and a natural flair for the right angles.
Soft focus would be good for my crinkled and ageing skin
I love the hair light but I would like some more light to the eyes, possibly with a reflector. Did you use flash or hot lights ?
Hi Colin,
Just a quicky, I think Elias has a good point on the eyes.
My contribution, if you can call it that, is that the smile looks a little deliberate, I bet you said 'show me your teeth' or similar
Cheers,
Love the soft effect ^_^
Colin, why the main light pointed to her hair instead of the face?

First of all, I want to know how this guy gets all these babes in his studio! He must have a bowl of candy in there or something!
I like the effect, Colin. The only other thing I can see is that she has a hair across her right eye that kind of looks like maybe it shouldn't be there.
I like it, but all my shots look that soft! I thought it was normal
Hi Folks,
Thanks for that.
The reality is that I took something like 50 or 60 shots in that set, and my only instruction to her was "do the model thing" (and she was very good at it), so it's kinda just a freeze-frame shot. The lighting was setup for a "face to the left" pose, but that's just not what she was doing that second. Oh, and that's her natural smile, which I think is nice
In essence the face still had directional light on it, and the softbox to camera left also ended up acting like a giant hair light.
I think Dave it might be something the girls of that age group have seen in magazines - my fashionista does it as well - they smile nicely, but seem to have their teeth sort of clenched a bit or something......as you know my understanding of this is limited by my 'tomboy' tendencies
