Caught in the sweet peas this evening. Size of the greenfly and the evening light mean it is not technically the best macro ever shot, but all things considered I'm quite happy. C&C, as always, welcome.

just a small point of clarification; this is a spider not a fly?

Brian, "Greenfly" is the common name for an aphid (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aphid) and despite the name is indeed not a fly.

Aphids are not a good thing in a garden, this is true.............This is a spider, alas

My guess would be for one of the Metellina spider species.

I would slightly and selectively tone down the background highlights but otherwise this looks fine.
