Resting
This photo was taken in Asakusa, Tokyo. It's an area that is always very crowded with tourists who come to visit the temple Senso-ji. While walking through the crowds I noticed an elderly lady taking a rest in the shade seemingly oblivious to the large crowds walking past. I think it was the contrast between the bustling activity of the crowds and the peaceful look of the woman that drew my eye to take this shot. The shade also helped soften the light which was an added bonus.

Well done for getting the lighting on her spot on. I think this image would benefit from a vertical crop. I took the liberty of downloading your image and cropping it. Please feel free to delete it if you do not approve of it. Cheers!

Re: Resting
Beautiful and emotive image. For having been a busy place you managed to isolate her very well.

Re: Resting
Great shot Luke, I wouldn't crop this as it gives a sense of space and to me the composition is spot on. I would however play a little more with some tonal contrast adjustments which will make this even more dramatic.
