    As I doubt that anyone will figure it out... a macro shot in natural light resulting in close to real colours of a newish column of giant butong bamboo.

    Well, I was close with aging barn wood which I went with because of the wood grain seen in the middle.

    Yes you were. Except that it is growing grass rather than old wood you were nearly spot on
