Lovely image... Only one slight problem... On my computer screen, I have a bit of a hard time seeing where the top of the bird's head stops and the vegetation begins. Easily solved that by placing a NIK Viveza control point on the vegetation just over the bird's head and adjusting the shadow slider...

I don't have NIK software, but I adjusted shadows in LR. Is this an improvement?

I would do a closer crop, mate! That almost dead flower head bothers me. Anyway, love your bird. We have a few of these in my sunflowers lately. They are very quick to disperse.

You appear to have lost a bit of vibrancy with the edit. Sometimes I work in Luminosity Mode to adjust brightness but retain saturation.

And you have gained a bit more of the out of focus flower in the bottom right corner.

So all in all, I prefer the original.
