    That is a lovely shot. The muted colours in that light are just perfect. Might be better if you have room to move the bird a bit more to the left in the comp but a beautiful shot.

    The potential problem with that though is that you then disrupt the harmony and balance of the image. As it is, I think everything works in that frame. For example, where would you place those two longer, out-of-focus reeds in the background if you re-positioned the bird? There is nothing in that image that's irrelevant. Everything is playing a role within that frame. Re-positioning the bird within the frame is going to create another image altogether.

    Nice shot. Composition, shallow DoF with perfect focus, a well balanced contrast and natural colours make it a pleasure to look at it. The upper part of the small vertical branch directly left of the bird's leg is a little bit disturbing, but it's still a great image.
