    GIF's

    Girls-in-Flight

    iso 1600, f/5.6, 1/500 sec
    Nikon D750, Sigma 50mm Art

The exercise was to capture of the Irish dancers in mid-leap, in low light, with sharp detail. Good practice!

Nice capture. When I read GIF's, I thought that you had saved images in the GIF (Graphics Interchange Format).

This is basically a very nice image and certainly shows Irish Dancers like they are in performance. You caught them in the air perfectly. I love the way their hair is flowing out with the leap!

I think that cropping the bottom of the image a tad to eliminate the triangular section of the stage - bottom image left might add to the image. I also think that brightening the dancers a bit and blurring the background would also help to separate the two foremost dancers from the background. Their legs, especially, are in shadow...

I don't know if this is an improvement but will be happy to take it off the site if you desire.

    GIF's

I think that if I were to work more on this image, I would experiment with desaturating the dancers in the background a bit...
