Nice shots, John. I'm glad you were able to include the people in the 2nd one to give it a sense of scale.

A revision of the first for Binnur.

All colors look more natural and better in this version John:)
Couple of very nice shots John but I just love the first one. Might be worth a little more mid tone contrast and just a bit of saturation though - (but that's probably just my take).
Not meaning to detour from John's thread, but yes the Finger Lakes region is somewhere I really wanted to go on my upcoming trip.
I think it's not that easy without a car, & I'm not comfortable driving on the wrong side of the road.
We could do a Bus tour, but then you're locked in to where it is scheduled to go.
Ah well, just means I have to come back, doesn't it! :)
I really like the first one too, John. Great work on both!
A bit of an extension of this outing, another photographer saw this scene and it evoked a feeling of loneliness. I didn't see the same but thought perhaps it could represent missed opportunity; someone should be sitting here looking out on whatever is beyond. We plan to compare captures later and I processed to see what she saw but it still doesn't evoke loneliness.
