Nice image Jean, IMO her piercings are distractions but that's the way she is

Thank you Binnur, young people like percings, me not, but I let them as they are, it is easy to erase them, but she won't be the same.

    Hi Jean,

Whilst my views on the piercings concur with you, the biggest distraction I find is whatever that is that is out of focus in the foreground and catching the light. Given that it's there, I would crop some off the bottom to exclude the lower one and a half rows of what we can see.

I like her pose (enigmatic) and I'm a sucker for brown eyes.
The lighting angle and 'quality' doesn't do her complexion any favours when viewed at 100% though, was this deliberate?

    Hope those observations help, Dave

PS I hope the bracket "(1)" means we are treated to another portrait of Ceris.

Jean - my feelings are somewhat along the lines of what Dave has written. I like the pose, I like the framing, but I'm not that impressed with the out of focus foreground or the lighting. When I look at the whites of the eyes and they seem to be middle gray, that tells me that there is a lighting / exposure issue with the image.

Thanks a lot Dave and Manfred.
I tried to enhance my picture (here in version 2).
For your information a perforated metal plate has been placed against the lens and illuminated by a flash directed at the camera to give these dots of light.
Other portraits coming? Yes, of course.
